How we design and preserve matters. The impacts of climate change are likely to worsen many challenges that coastal areas already face. Confronting problems that affect man-made infrastructure and coastal ecosystems, such as building durability,, coastal erosion and quality of life, is already a concern in many areas. Our team addresses the additional stress of climate change as a design opportunity, adapting and creating new approaches to managing land, water, waste, and ecosystems.
